New Year's Resolutions
Congratulations! You made it through another year. 2018 had its ups and downs, but now it’s in the rearview mirror. With each passing year, every person has goals they want to achieve in the next one. Sometimes the sheer options of goals to make can be overwhelming, which is why The Mansions on the Park Blog put together a list of simple New Year’s Resolutions that are a good place to start. Use these exact resolutions, or build off of them to create your own.
Get in shape.
A simple goal that many Americans are determined to do every year. Put together an exercise plan, start a new diet, or just try to be a little more active this year. Whatever you decide on, make sure you have a specific plan to follow.
The first step to this resolution is to stop procrastinating making your resolutions. After that, make a goal to be more on top of things this year. Maybe you start keeping a planner, or using a new scheduling system, or maintain a list of things to do. There are so many options to help you with this goal!
Improve your mental skills.
This can mean different things for different people. You could take up meditating, read more books, learn a new skill, write a book, or maybe you decided to just have some time where you don’t look at your phone. Many people work out their bodies as their resolutions; try working out your brain as well.
Meet new people.
Get out of the house! Talk to your cashier at the grocery store. Say hello to people when you walk by them. Maybe attend a local party or mixer. However you intend to do it, you can never have too many friends. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet the incredible people that are all around you.
