Houston Texans December Preview

A football
The Houston Texans are right in the playoff mix this NFL season. With their star power on offense and their very solid defense, this team is looking to be one of the best. We here at The Mansions on the Park Blog are huge Texans fans. With Houston’s proximity to your Magnolia, TX apartment, we love to head on over and catch a game whenever we can. We want to make sure that all of our residents are prepared for this critical month in the Texans’ schedule, so we listed the three most important games for the Houston this month.

Vs. Indianapolis Colts, 12/9, 12:00 pm CST

This inter-division game is sure to be a close one. Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton, and the high-powered Indianapolis offense is coming to town. If you remember when they played earlier this year, the Texans just barely squeezed by the Colts with a 37-34 win. The Colts are sure to be looking for revenge, so expect this game to be another close one. However, in the end, DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas should dominate the Colts’ weak secondary, so look for a win to start out the month for your Houston Texans.

At Philadelphia Eagles, 12/23, 12:00 pm CST

In the second-to-last game of the season, the Texans are heading to Philadelphia to face the defending Super Bowl champions. The Eagles haven’t been the league-destroying team they were last year, but they’ve still been very solid. With the Eagles still in a close playoff race, they’re sure to give their best effort in this game. The key for a Texans win will be the offensive line. Philadelphia’s defensive front seven might be the best in the league, so the offensive line being able to block will be key. Keep quarterback DeShaun Watson on his feet the whole game and the rest of the team will fall into place for another Houston win.

Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 12/30, 12:00 pm CST

For the final game of the 2018 NFL regular season, the Texans will face off against their division rival, the Jackson Jaguars. The good news is that the Texans get to play against Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, who has been one of the worst in the NFL. The bad news is that DeShaun Watson has to throw against Jacksonville cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, the best in the league. In a game that will likely decide who makes the playoffs, the Texans are sure to end the season in momentous fashion.

With these key games all occurring this month, December is sure to be an exciting one for the Houston Texans. If they can win these games we listed, they’re sure to on their way to the playoffs. Be sure to get together with family and friends to watch the Texans in December. If you want to see a game in person, you can purchase tickets here. Thanks for reading our blog!
